Boat has a new name.

When we first got the boat,we were going to keep the original name, but change the port name.

Over time we learned that we used the boat mostly in the evenings, so the name had to change. Getting a new name is pretty easy, I just called the Duffy company and gave them the information and they sent me the name and port as two vinyl decals.  The issue I ran into was that after I remove the old name, the paint under the name had faded so you could still read the old name and I needed to repaint the background.  Things are never simple.

I'm hoping to launch the boat this weekend.

New goose family

The new goose family showed up for the first time today. There are 5 little ones.  By the end of the summer the chicks will be as large as the parents.  We watch the geese all summer and try to manage their feeding area.

Windmills and Tulips

Last week Linda and I spent some time in the Netherlands and Belgium.  We visited the canals in Amsterdam, the Windmills and the tulip gardens at Keukenhof.  It was a wonderful trip.

Finally snow

This is my first storm this winter. The last storm was in October, and Linda and I were in Arizona.
